I took a belly dance class at the newly opened World Rhythms studio on Sunday morning. I have danced seriously for about 4 years, so I have some experience. And I absolutely loved the teacher and the studio. Absolutely top drawer all around. They do have a schedule printed up and available at the studio though not up on the website yet.

If you were thinking about it, they are well worth checking out. And definitely (IMO, obviously) a great addition to the neighborhood!

i really wanted to go sit in on that exact class but plans got in the way. i'm stoked to here they're so awesome, but i have one more pressiing question for you: how MUCH do they cost?? Are they prohibitively expensive to an ordinary, non-professional dancer?

I thought the prices reasonable.

Single class:
4 weeks--$60
8 weeks--$110

one month pass, unlimited classes:
$129

Unlimited classes with a 3 month minimum:
$99/mo, $89 special (I don't know what the rules are on this price, but it may be while they're opening.)
