You could try Pinballs Plus, the guy with a sign in his window on Highland Ave. just outside Davis. (I haven't noticed the sign in a while, but it could be just me not paying attention.)

MIT runs a once monthly (I think) electronics flea market where all kinds of vintage electronics are bought and sold. If you are willing to spend some time there you could no doubt could meet someone with advice, parts or perhaps the expertise to fix one of these units.

I've never dealt with AngelTronics (right in the square, in the same building with Au Bon Pain), but I wouldn't be surprised if someone there could help you out.

They're worth a call at least -- they struck me as very able and knowledgeable when they worked on my PC recently, so it wouldn't surprise me if one of their guys knows gaming consoles.
