davis_squareLyndell’s Bakery will celebrate its 122nd Anniversary on Wednesday, Dec. 2 with the Great Cupcake Giveaway.
Every customer that visits either location will receive a free cupcake. Lyndell’s started the tradition two years ago when they reached the 120th year in business. On Dec. 2, 2009, the bakery will be in business for 39,238 days making it one of the oldest scratch bakeries in the country.
Lyndell’s currently has two locations -- the original at 720 Broadway in Somerville and one recently open at 227 Hanover St. in the North End.
