1. The vaccinations are by appointment only, no walk-ins.

2. 311 confirmed that you are not disqualified from receiving one vaccine if you have recently had the other. (I got the seasonal flu vaccine through work this week, and they asked if I had had any vaccinations within the past 10 days, so I was curious.)

Actually, I just called 311, got the number for the public health nurse to make an appointment and she told me this particular clinic is a walk-in. She said it is first come/first serve so it is probably important to go as soon as possible.

Hooray for official misinformation! Thanks for the update.

(I'm not actually going myself. My asthma is pretty mild and it looks like there are limited enough slots that I should wait.)

might be a stupid question....

but how do we prove we have asthma, for example? do i just bring my advair and ventalin, and hope they believe me? or do we need a doctor's note of some sort?

I just heard something about this clinic on WBUR, and apparently they are using the honor system.

fyi, it may not hurt to call your PCP if you have one. I went in for a follow up the other day and they had just gotten a shipment in and i got both no line, no wait
