Anyone know anything about when the Royal White laundromat on Cedar St will re-open, if at all? Thanks!

Huh? It looked open when I walked by just a few days ago.

The part that does the laundering and dry cleaning service is still open, but the laundromat has been "closed for renovations" since the week before Thanksgiving. Doesn't look like any work has actually begun yet, though.

The laundry's open--I think that the poster is wondering about the coin-op laundromat.

I called them yesterday, and the dude said they are pretty much closed until everything is fixed... indefinitely in other words. He had no time frame, and said that they basically didn't want to keep repairing everything. I am pretty disappointed, and I really wish they had done this while the weather was still nice!
Where is the nearest laundromat besides that one? I live across the street!

Yeah, I went in there asked the people who were behind the counter at the time, and they didn't know, either, but none of them seemed exactly like they were very high up on the Royal White totem pole (or over 18 years of age). I'm figuring someone somewhere in the company probably has some idea of what the timetable is...

The next nearest laundromats are Laundromax on Highland Ave, toward Davis, and Gold Star, also on Highland, but toward Union Square. Neither are quite exactly what I'd call walking distance if you live on Cedar.

If you go in early in the morning, there are usually some management people there. Later in the day, it is mostly part-timers.
They might as well be closed.....last time I was there, there were maybe 2 washers working!
There is also a laundramat in Ball Square, and one on Broadway in Magoun Square right beside the Goodwill.
