Hi all,
I just picked up a 100% wool carpet for under $100 at Crate and Barrel, they were getting rid of a lot of the floor models to make way for a complete re-do of their remaining Cambridge location (by adding some housewares into what was formerly furniture-only). It goes for $699 normally, so I think I got a deal, but it does need to be professionally cleaned. Does anyone have any recommendations? Or have access to Sandy's List or Angie's or whatever that chick's name is, and can look one up for me? Thanks in advance.

I'd throw in a whole-hearted vote for Lily's Carpet Cleaning. A local independent team we came across that uses non-toxic soap and plain old elbow-grease to clean your carpets. I'm sure you can find more reviews of them online, but they are fast, inexpensive and really friendly. We've only had an 8x10 oriental rug done but it came out great and we've had them back several times.
