Bluehouse has 1 huge bedroom with excellent sized closet available April 1 or before in 4 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath, upper 2 floors of a large house. Located 10 minute walk to Porter, Davis, Ball Squares, mere seconds to the 88, 90 busses, we are close to just about everything you may need. Rent is $530 plus utilities (gas, electric and cable modem/phone). To move in, you need first, last and security (same as rent). Please be inclined to make it home for at least a full year.

First floor has a spacious well-stocked eat-in kitchen, pantry, dining room/art studio, full bathroom, living room and enclosed porch (aka the smoking porch - all smoking needs to happen outside). Second floor has the 1/2 bathroom and the 4 bedrooms. Lots of storage is available in the basement. There is a back patio where you can BBQ, catch some sun and hang out, get your groove on, etc.

The common area of the house is fully furnished in the bohemian style. There are hardwood floors throughout most of the house. There is a wireless/cable internet hookup in the house as well. Laundry is 1 block away.

The roomies: 2 girls and 1 guy, everyone is in their mid to late 20's. The roommates are: an artist / cubicle farmer, a veggie chef / burlesque diva, and a community computer center instructor / funkateer extraordinaire. We are interesting folk who each have our own fantastic stories. We are not big into TV, but films and nifty projects (cooking, dancing, painting, knitting, fire-spinning and dj spinning, electronics tinkering, music making, and more) are ever present.

Everyone is pretty independent, open minded, and we are looking for a 4th roommate to complement the household. We would like someone who enjoys our company, and is willing communicate, contribute, and occasionally get together to break some bread over some wine (or a 40, Jack and Coke, whatever). Personalities are encouraged, but personal responsibility is required. We have one loving kitty with a goatee (Ginsberg.) (Sorry, our landlord won’t allow additional pets). putting up a cat for adoption

what is the best place to post to put a cat up for adoption? is there a local website to use or a section on craiglist besides 'free' that would attract the right people?

if you're interested- very handsome sand-point white siamese-influenced cat, less than year old, small, energetic, perky and friendly, with blue eyes. Name is Max. Declawed on front paws (not my doing), totally indoor, comes with litter pan and food. Fixed and has all vaccines necessary for NH.

Lot of 82 books for sale (cheap). Both fiction and non-fiction. Fiction spans fantasy, sci-fi, classics, and more. The non-fiction spans health, the Victorian age, a few college textbooks, and more. A good bunch of both come from the English program at UMass Amherst, circa late '90s. All are in readable condition, almost all are in near-new condition (read once or twice).

$25 or best offer. Will go as lot only. I'm on Hawthorne St (two blocks from Rosebud), you pick up please.

Hey, anyone know where I can rent a car in the Miami, FL area?

For a week now, I thouhgt something was wrong with Livejournal, and specifically, with Davis_Square. "Oh no!, I thought to myself, "My favorite community is broken! it's just duplicating posts from B0st0n!"

Then I realized, it wasnt broken at all. people just keep crossposting everything, whether or not (usually not), it has ANYTHING to do with David Square!

Seriously, people, do you have ANYTHING to say about Davis Square? There's a Boston-related community for a reason. &@$*#% USE IT! We don't need to see your crap twice.

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to put in a short plug for the shoe repair store next to Starbuck's in Davis. The man who works there is so delightful - a really nice guy, I always left with a smile on my face - and their shoe repair is very well done, and reasonably priced. It's a great little place.
