Tufts Senior looking for a place around campus. Clean, mature, busy, friendly 22 year old male. I just came back to the area after being abroad for the year and I am looking for a clean and sunny house to lease a room in. Preferably through June 1 2006 but negotiable for a bit longer. Rent negotiable as well. I don't smoke and have no pets. Looking for a clean and decent place to live. Not really into the "college lifestyle" kind of housing, I'm looking for something more mature, quiet, normal, and clean.

I know I've been asking a lot of questions lately, but everyone is so helpful that I just have to ask another. (By the way - to all the people who recommended FabricPlace, it was awesome.)

I really want to get a trim and highlights, but I'm looking to pay between $50 - $100 for the whole thing. Can anyone recommend any reasonably priced places in the area? Thanks again!

My partner Brandi and I live in a wonderful condo near Davis and Ball Squares in Somerville. Brandi has a nice crafty setup in the basement, which means we're able to rent our extra bedroom -- so we're looking for a housemate! Rent would be $675 plus share of utilities, available 9/1 (move-in date flexible).

Brandi and I are a geeky, creative, and sane household. I'm a Unix sysadmin and massage therapist by trades, and love board games and science fiction. Brandi's going into Public Policy and loves quilting and gardening. We watch almost no TV. We do spend a bunch of time at home, so a friendly, mutually supportive housemate relationship is very important to us. We are friendly to all lifestyles.

The house is on Prichard Ave, which is northeast of Davis, near Ball Square and the bike path. We're a 3 minute walk to Sound Bites, 10 to the T in Davis, 15 to Star Market. The neighborhood is quiet, friendly, and has lots of trees.

Our kitchen is a complete remodel, done when we moved in a year ago, with ample cabinet and counter space, all new appliances, and an eat-in kitchen nook. We also updated the electrical system and added more outlets to every room. There's good-sized living and dining rooms, front and back porches, W/D and dishwasher. The available bedroom is 11'x12' with a good closet and an ethernet jack.

We have a sweet, goofy cat. One more cat would be okay if they can get along, but no other furry pets. No smoking or drug use on the premises.
