The laptop makes funny noises. I think its a mechanical problem.

Does anybody have suggestions as to a reputable computer-fix place in the Boston metro area? Do any of you, dear readers, work at such a place?

I NEED MY FUCKING COMPUTER FOR MY BUSINESS AND FOR SCHOOL.

Uh, does anyone know anything about computers? Could we, like, talk on the phone later about it? I will totally make out with you. I will also make you V-Day themed sugar cookies.

I have a T23 IBM Thinkpad. The green on light thingie comes on when i plug it in. Then the computer makes weird whirring noises. Then the computer's screen gets slightly less black (which uh tells me the power is going into the computer), but then NOTHING HAPPENS. Except for the whirring noise. That thing keeps going like a fluffer working overtime on a tucker-ed out porn star whose Viagra prescription ran out months ago.

Uh, there is this symbol thingie that lights up in green. It looks like a circle with a "Z" inside. Or perhaps that is supposed to be a lightening bolt? Anyway, it lights up.

None of my tech-ish friends (all 2 of them) are answering their fucking phones. There is nothing to eat in my cabinets, and I have too much stuff to accomplish for me to leave and go buy groceries. Perhaps I'll sautee a cat. Also, I just farted. Fart smells just further damper any situation.

So my new best friend has informed me that I need one small part of my laptop soldered to another part. I bet soldering results in smoke. And smoke looks kinda like steam. And I do adore activities that result in steamy-ish atmospheres.

Pique my interest as you take apart the laptop. Let us consider it a metaphor for the undressing of our inhibitions and/or clothing. Make me moan as you delicately remove that keyboard so good. Just don't break the keyboard. Then I'll have to get all dominatrix on your ass and, thus, injure (perhaps singe?) your delicate bottom.

If you have excellent coordination & know how to solder, then, yes, I'm hitting on you. Also, I might be hitting on you, Dear Reader, even if you lack one or both of the aforementioned traits.

At any rate, I need advice on a computer place and/or person that solders PC shizt back together. In, you know, the Davis Square-ish area.

+++

I also am looking for a patron and/or sugar mamma and/or daddy to pay off my grad school debt and/or buy me a new laptop. I always put out, mkay?

I'm willing, ready, & able to bring my computer and my self to any location you designate for steamy-ish soldering type activities. The only question is, your place or mine?

Really, though, people, I'd appreciate advice. And a demonstration of your deft manual skills.
