so, as of today we’re looking to find another veterinarian for our cats. our previous vet, Union Square Veterinary Clinic, completely screwed up the scheduling of a spaying appointment we made for one of our cats. so now we have a cranky cat who hasn’t been fed in twelve hours, and chaiya lost a chunk of her morning because even after several phone calls to confirm, the office was completely unprepared to spay our cat. bah.

any recommendations for alternative providers?

This year I get dental insurance. It's the first year since undergrad I'll have had it. Whee. But I have to choose a primary dentist. Anyone have one around here (preferably biking distance from me) that they like? I'll check if they're on my insurance.

We are two young professionals (Read: Volunteer our time for little money) searching for a third roommate to occupy one room in our spacious three bedroom apartment.

The apartment is a 3 minute walk from Davis Square, the Red line T, and bus #s 88 and 87 to Lechmere, 90 to Sullivan Station, 96 to Harvard, a 10 minute walk to Tufts campus, as well as ample street parking.

Who are we? Laid back, fun and considerate BU alumnae with a love for Jon Stewart, brunch, and all things "Lost." Who we want to live with? A considerate, responsible, and fun individual with an equally-enthusiastic dedication to freaky islands and Matthew Fox (just kidding). We are two girls, hailing from New Hampshire and New York, but are ok living with either gender. We’re both non-smokers and social drinkers, but don’t mind if you smoke outside on the back porch.

Your room faces our back "yard" and is very quiet and sunny. There is a hallway closet you can use for storage. The apartment is equipped with our own washer and dryer, dishwasher, appliances, internet, and cable with On-Demand and HBO.

Rent is $650 per month (a great deal for this location!) and utilities usually run $80-$100 more, depending on the weather. Move in date is September 1, or ASAP - we are flexible!

Yet another "help me find roomie, my roomie bailed" post

I had found someone for my place but that's not going to work out so I am once again searching. Looking for someone to move in pretty much any time. Here's the info:

I'm a 29 year old female professional looking for a roommate to share a large 2 bedroom apartment in Medford near Tufts University for either September 1 or 15 or October 1 (some flexibility with the move in date). On street parking, no permit needed. The apartment is on a dead end street in a quiet neighborhood, but has excellent access to public transit with the bus to the red line 1 block away. Busses to Orange and green line are within walking distance and it is about 1.25 miles to Davis Square. Tufts campus is literally around the corner. Landlady lives upstairs but pretty much leaves me alone. There is a washer and dryer in the basement. Living room, dining room and enormous kitchen.

Rent is $725, utilities vary, more details available. I have wireless internet and cable modem. I have one large friendly cat. Additional pets are a possibility.
