Union Square Clean Up Day - volunteers needed!

Hey, everyone. Don't want to start a turf war or anything, but Union Square Main Streets is organizing a Clean-Up Day over in Union Square, and hoping to find volunteers wherever they may live.

It's slated to be held Saturday, November 11 from 10 am to 1 pm. Meet on the central plaza. Breakfast and lunch will be provided, as will tools and good cheer! RSVP to usms@unionsquaremain.org so we'll be prepared for you.

Cutting Property Tax?

Deval Patrick wants to cut the property tax. Wouldn't that impact school funding, since that's where the money comes from? Can anybody cite sources in how that would work?
