First, Ball Square was all copped up this morning -- three cars with blinkenlights double-parked outside the Warring Breakfast Joints. Anyone know the story?

Second, a black case full of CDs seems to have been dropped on a hedge ~110 Rogers ave. If you're looking for such a lost entity, that's where you dropped it.

So. I like to work or study in coffeehouses as much as the next person. I also like to walk over to True Grounds on weekend mornings for coffee and a bagel or breakfast burrito. And I like to sit at a table while eating my bagel or breakfast burrito. True Grounds isn't a very big place, and to all of you who bring your laptops and textbooks and sit there for long periods of time: have some consideration, please! It might be that 10:00 on Sunday morning isn't the best time to tie up a table for an hour. As for the woman who walked in the door, bypassed all the people standing in line, grabbed the table that had just opened up, opened up her laptop, and hadn't ordered anything 20 minutes later... am I the only one who considers this bad coffeehouse etiquette, even without the not ordering anything part?

They are outside of 19 Burnham St. in Somerville. Please take what you would like and neatly leave the rest. I regret that I can't hold them for you, but I will do my best to update as they're gone.

Thanks!

P.S. If you're planning on taking them all, I would love to do a trade, if that's at all possible for you. This is particularly true if you have any children's books you're also trying to get rid of. If that's the case, contact me first. Thank you!

Boston Dorkbot holds it's October meeting on Tuesday the 16th at 7:00pm. This month, Mike Costa will do a presentation on his experiences starting a MIDI controller company. He'll discuss some of the hoops he had to jump through from sheet metal design to electronics, to marketing, etc.

This will be followed with an update on the Haunted Room Exhibit we have scheduled for Halloween.

The meeting is at 7:00 at Willoughby and Baltic, 195g Elm Street, and we love to see new faces. And it's FREE!
