Sunday night scavenging

So, I am taking a day trip tomorrow and will have a Zipcar on Sunday evening. So I decided to take advantage and set aside time for some sidewalk scavenging. Anyone have any tips on good areas to explore (besides the Tufts neighborhoods, of course) -- or, anyone planning to set some stuff out on Sunday night? :-)

Bike rack for sale

I bought the Thule 910 Passage 2 trunk-mount bike rack a while back. Tried to use it once, couldn't get it to stay on the car. Being in a hurry, I threw the bikes in the back seat and said screw it. Now, I have a new car and Thule says it won't fit on it, so I'm looking to sell it. Basically never been used.

$70 or best offer. Get it while the gettin's good.

- Thule roof racks: 2 cross bars, 4 locking mounts (and their keys). I can't find the exact model online, but the mounts work on a car that already has front-to-back roof racks, but not cross-wise racks. I had this setup on a VW Passat station wagon. $100 for the set.

women's haircut/trim <$40?

Both Salon Cu and Amal Niccoli are now charging $40, which is more than I'd like to pay given that I'm not asking for anything terribly complicated (straight hair cut to just above the hairline, same length all the way around, light layering, sidesweep bang). I know Judy Jetson has been recommended on here before; does anyone know what their current base rates are? Or have suggestions for other places that are under $40? (I'm living in Medford now, but I still go through Davis Square on my way home and am happy to take the T somewhere if it's a good place for a good price.)

Anyone need boxes?
