Looking for roommate - 3 bedroom near Tufts

My roommate and I are looking for a third roommate (grad student or young professional) to join our year lease on June 1st. We live in a huge 3-bedroom apartment (2nd and 3rd story of a house) near Tufts and Powderhouse square – it’s about a 10 minute walk to Davis. Rent is $600, utilities not included.

Not only do these kinds of choices throw a cog in the works of our lives, they also make for a hilarious and thought-provoking evening of entertainment!

Theatre@First is proud to present Festival@First6: Tables Turned. An evening of 8 one act plays, Tables Turned is chock full of ordinary people finding themselves in extra-ordinary situations and making the choices that shock and delight us.

Auditions are by appointment, only, and will take place on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, May 18th, 19th and 20th. Please visit our auditions page for more information and to make an appointment.

Performances are July 23rd through August 1st.

Auditions and performances will be held at The Unity Church of God at 6 William Street in Somerville -- just up College Ave. from the Davis Square T stop.

need boxes ?

need to move ?  store stuff ? i've got ~35 "banker's box" sturdy cardboard file-size boxes with lids, reasonably clean (maybe a little dusty) that are taking up space in my front hall.  they're fantastic for moving, especially if there's any chance you won't be able to unpack everything right away.  take them away for...$10? some organically-grown white eggs ? a really entertaining story ?  i'm easy.

Stop by the Artists' Choice Exhibit at the Somerville Museum for a chance to view the work of many Somerville Open Studios participating artists in a single location.

The exhibit will be on view during the Museum's regular hours. And if you don't have a chance to stop by beforehand, you can still get an early start on SOS weekend since the exhibit opens one hour earlier than artists' studios. The Somerville Museum is located at the corner of Central Street and Westwood Road, two short blocks south of Highland Avenue. Museum Hours: Thurs 2-7, Fri -5, Sat 12-5 (plus extended hours during SOS weekend)

Is anyone else getting [Somerville Snow Alert] emails from 2006?

Apparently street cleaning started on April 3rd that year and on the 4th, trains ran through Davis Station WITHOUT STOPPING. It was a mad mad world.
