So I'm finishing up Legends of Winter Hill by Jay Atkinson, a flawed but entertaining slice of true life crime and cops in Somerville from the 1950's on. It's a funny reminder of how much Somerville has changed - you've got all sorts of shenanigans going on amidst familiar landmarks like RedBones, the Doherty Funeral Home, Union Square, and of course, the once infamous Winter Hill.
What other good books (of any genre) about Somerville are out there that are worth reading?
