Emergency on the Path

This morning while I was walking to the T (around 8:30) I saw 2 ambulances and a police car on the path between Lexington Park and Willow Ave.  They had someone in the stretcher.  I also saw a woman putting more air in her tires next to the scene (???).

Does anyone know what happened? Was there a serious bike-on-pedestrian accident?
