Does anyone know what happened at the parking meeting last night? I could only stay for the first hour, so never got to hear if there was any changes.

Come to Union Square tonight and see what Somerville film-makers have produced!

Somerville… in Shorts!
An Evening of Outdoor Experimental and Animated Films

Ever wonder what Somerville looks like in shorts? (Short films, that is)! On a warm summer evening, cool Union Square lights up at nightfall with an outdoor screening of animated and experimental shorts by Somerville filmmakers.

The Somerville Arts Council and Somerville Community AccessTelevision (SCAT) have joined forces to project work from local animators and experimental filmmakers, including Karen Aqua, Joel Frenzer, Steve Gentile, Gina Kamentsky, Norah Solorzano and The Zucker Brothers.

Hey guys. I'm new to this community and have lived in Davis for a couple of months. I've just started writing a blog for Massage Therapy Works in Davis and I thought you guys might be interested in it.

The blog is about natural living and holistic health care in the Boston area, and since MTW is in Davis, a lot of the entries are going to focus on places around the area. I've already written an entry about Cambridge Naturals (Porter, I guess, but close!) and O2 Yoga.

Here's the link if you guys want to check it out. http://www.massagetherapyworks.com/_blog/Boston_Healing_Blog

PS. I love this neighborhood. Best place to live in Boston by far!

On August 29, 2009, local artist Annie Smidt will turn the historic powderhouse tower in Nathan Tufts Park (Somerville MA) into a camera obscura, effectively transforming the building into a room-sized, lenseless camera which can capture images of the park outside. She will then use the powderhouse camera to photograph members of the Somerville community as they pose in the park.

Everyone is welcome. Come be a part of it!
