Breasts are important. I don't know that I need to argue that; from time to time even gay men have admired my cleavage. Local residents [livejournal.com profile] taura_g and [livejournal.com profile] hammercock are going to walk the upcoming Breast Cancer 3-Day in Washington, DC, supporting Susan G. Komen for the Cure, over Columbus Day weekend.

[livejournal.com profile] taura_g needs to raise a little more money to participate, and so we're having a virtual bake sale auction! The bidding is online at [livejournal.com profile] treatsfortits, the treats are real, and they will be available after Wednesday to the lucky winners. The auction features delicious and decadent desserts, breads, preserves and more! (oddly, there are no melon-based items available).

This auction will end on Monday, 9/28, at 10:00 a.m. EST. Bid soon!!

The address for Wednesday pickup in Davis Square can be provided OR I am willing to pick up anything you purchase and be available any time (day, night, 3am, whatever you want) on Thursday for pick up in Porter Square.

Please come by [livejournal.com profile] treatsfortits and bid on any of the following tasty items. More are even now being added!!

treats for tits, refreshments for racks, comestibles for chesticles.... )

'Never After' just had a stupendous opening last night with huge audience. "Smashing!" "Stunning" "Truly, truly lovely"
And there's only one more show! 3pm today, Somerville Theater main stage- that's 55 Davis Square.

'The Lesbian Fairytale Musical' is smart and sassy, with an array of dynamic, heartwarming characters. It's got Fairies, princesses, dragons, knights, bandits, merry men... action, adventure, love. It'll brighten up your rainy day!

Here below is general show info, website is NeverAfterMusical.com and for online tix sales, go directly here.

Penned by Somerville's own Colleen Campbell, it's a toe-tapping and truly homegrown feel-good time.
See it right here at home, before it one day soon hits the Big Screen(yes, it's also a screenplay).

Does anyone know where I can find some cheap white chef aprons in the local area? I'm looking for standard industrial/restaurant/butcher shop white aprons with a bib.

http://apronstore.com/kitapr.htm this style

I want to support local businesses and avoid paying shipping.

I'm looking for 3 for around 25 dollars.

Thank you for your help!

Did anybody notice this? The SN used to post the "Poll of the Week". The last one was posted on Sept 9. After that, there have been two polls about Capuano running for the Senate seat. In both polls he did miserably from what I remember; it seems that people may not like him or they may prefer for him to stay where he is. No SN polls have been posted for the last 2 weeks.
Come on, SN, if you have these polls up, at least post the results, no matter what they show....
