Does anyone have a power adapter for a iBook G4 mac laptop lying around? My current one just broke and judging from the sea of macs at Diesel, I'm guessing there are a decent number of mac users in the Davis area. So if you've upgraded and don't need it anymore, I will gladly take it off your hands! If you want a couple bucks thrown your way, that wouldn't be a problem. I've checked online, and I could probably order one from amazon or off ebay for $20 or less, so I'd rather not spend more than that.

I will gladly come to your place to pick it up, as long as it's reasonable distance from a train or bus.

I want to buy a digital camera and would prefer to support a local shop rather than best buy. Are there any local electronics shops any more?

Has anyone had any luck fighting a "blocking handcapped ramp" ticket? I was parked in a spot on a curved corner that I'm pretty sure I've parked in several times before, that happens to have a ramp coming down. I'm pretty sure there is no paint or bump strips on it, and It's $200 that I would much rather spend on something else.

Please, no snark, i'm not in the mood.

Hello,

I don't know how many of you noticed, but I've seen the guy who sells Spare Change at the bottom of the Davis Sq. T- Stop escalator smoking cigarettes about 4 times now. I've said something once and of course that didn't change anything and I typically don't have time to back upstairs to inform the T-Station attendant (not that they would do anything), but is there a way to notify Spare Change somehow?  And if so, are they a tightly run organization that they would do anything about it?

Tonight, Mike Capuano will be directly engaging voters all across the Commonwealth on the war in Afghanistan and other issues for an expanded series of "Open Mike" conversations utilizing interactive telephone town hall technology. This allows Mike to talk with thousands of voters at a time while he continues to fight for us in Washington.

The new Somerville prescription drug discount program was referred to in an earlier post about news trucks at Tufts, where the mayor introduced the program. Here's more info: the program is available to all residents of Somerville. You can save an average of 20% on drug prescriptions not covered by insurance (at participating pharmacies). It appears that all locations of the major chains (CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens, Stop & Shop, Shaws, Costco, Target, etc.) participate in the program, as does Harvard Vanguard, Skendarian Apothecary, etc.
