Thanks for your help!
Preferably of the non-circular variety, J-shaped or just really small as the average larger ones refuse to stay in my ears... I know it's kinda icky to share something like that, but I know a lot of them do come with different sizes so hopefully some normally ear-sized person has solely been using the mediums.
for the back story, I tried to get some $10 usb drive/player and have taken it back already and tried it on 3 computers with no luck and I don't want to purchase an actual MP3 player if I can't even download music... nor do I want to drop $20 when I'm just looking to listen to pandora for a month (it'd be that much because as previously mentioned I hate the circular ones, nor do I want the $2 amazon shitty-sounding ones to break as all the reviews promise). lastly I'm not seeking headphones cuz they press into my glasses and give me headaches.
it's just too annoying to take anymore so I thought the ol dslj was worth a shot :)
apologies for the extended explanations for something so minimal!
HONK! Fest this weekend
Oct. 6th, 2009 04:50 pmin addition to the orgy of bands on Sat. and the parade on Sun., this year will also have a grand finale blow out show on Sunday at the Somerville Theater featuring all of the bands (tickets available at here) as well as neighborhood "invasions" all over the Boston area on Friday. The Somerville one will be at the East Somerville Public library from 5:15-8 and feature Emperor Norton's Stationary Marching Band with the Pink Puffers (visiting from Rome!), as well as the SHS marching band and SHS world percusiion ensemble.
The festival is run not for profit and entirely by volunteers, and as such we could still very much use more help! the two biggest ways you can help is by volunteering or making donations. Every little bit helps, 30 minutes, $10, anything! Learn more by visiting http://honkfest.org/help
- Volunteer for the event! Help provide good old-fashioned HONK! hospitality by staffing info booths, selling t-shirts, transporting and feeding musicians.
To volunteer, please email participate(at)honkfest.org.
To help with the parade, please email parade(at)honkfest.org. To help cover travel expenses, food, publicity and hall rental, we need funds. If you would like to make a donation, you can either pay online using this PayPal button, or send a check or money order payable to HONK!:
HONK!’s fiscal sponsor, Great Small Works, is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, so all donations are tax deductible.
we also still need help housing people, so you can help by opening up your homes to some amazing people. It would be especially helpful if you and your neighbors could get together and each put up a few members of a single band (band members love to stick together), but anyone you can take in will be extremely grateful. Please e-mail housing(at)honkfest.org.
