So I just went to DD on Main St in Medford to get my coffee as I was coming out the teamsters were setting up to give out free donuts... I didn't listen to the guy but it looks like there's a dispute and they're trying to eat into DDs profit.. If they really wanted to do that they would need coffee as well. Anyway none of the 7 or 8 teamsters were under 6' and they were all very intimating.

Searching google I found this...

Does anyone know where I can buy powdered WHOLE milk locally? Nonfat is the norm but I need whole. Nestle Nido is a common brand.

Over the last couple of years, I’ve won some electronic items that I really don’t need, so I figured I would sell them off to my neighbors.

Here’s what I have:

Apple iPod Touch 16GB 1st generation (Model MA627LL/A) (still shrink wrapped) $80

Toshiba Portable DVD player (Model SD-P1750) (unopened box) $60

Tivoli Audio Model One Henry Kloss AM/FM table radio (original box) Black $80

Drop me a line at not.gross at gmail or call me at 653.0615, AC 617. We can arrange a meeting spot somewhere in the Davis Square area. Cash only, of course.

My downstairs neighbors at 7 Bay State are moving and there's plenty of nice free stuff on the curb. Many wine glasses, four full skeins of pale pink yarn, Christmas supplies, kitchen stuff, etc. Good pickins if you happen to be passing by.

I have not used either in about two years, but both worked fine last time I did.

Where do folks around here buy their fish? Any places to check out or avoid?

My roommate recently accepted a position out of state and so I'm looking for someone to share a 2-bedroom on the 2nd floor of a house near Ball Sq. Close to Tufts, and the bike path is at the end of the street, so it's a short walk to Davis (10 - 15 mins).

The place is bright and roomy, with two porches (front and back). Kitchen is large and open, with a disposal, dishwasher, and ceiling fan. The basement has free laundry and storage space. The available room is the larger of the two, with a good sized closet. Parking is on-street, but there's almost always a spot in front of the house. There is also garden space, if that's of any interest to you.

I have a short-haired dog who is large enough to qualify as another roommate, but he is extremely lazy and quiet, and comes to work with me about 50 hrs a week, and we walk at night. We work at a dog wash, so he's usually squeaky clean.

Rent for the whole apt is $1400, so your half would be $700 plus 1/2 utilities (gas and electric, with oil heat). The windows are new, so heat is the cheapest I think I've ever paid.

I do have pics, which I'll be happy to email or text. Any questions, just ask.
