Good morning friends and neighbors,
If you live within a 2 block radius of me, you'll likely have heard me wandering the streets looking for one of my cats this weekend. Jake is often too cool for school and likes to take his sweet time coming home, but this is starting to be unusual behavior for him and is giving me grey hairs.
I live on Pearson Ave between Kidder & Boston Aves. If you happen to see a grey and white and black beast wandering toward you and making a weird squeaking noise, don't fear. It's probably Jake. He's huge. 15lbs. The size of a small dog or raccoon. But the nicest damned cat. If you see him and can grab him, pretty please take him in and call/email me. Or if you just spot him somewhere let me know so I know he's not dead or with Somerville Animal Control (who I'll be calling next).
To add a twist to the mix, Jake has a brother who looks almost exactly like him. The only discernable differences between the two is the amount of white on their faces (Jake has only a white nose, his brother has more) and their size (both are huge, Jake is just long and fat while his brother is long and lean and bony).
My contact info is: taralyndsey@gmail.com and my cell is 805-878-3195.
Thanks to everyone for your help. It's great to have this little community to turn to. I've included a couple of pics for identification purposes :)
