Looking for info on dog tied to pole in Davis Sq/College Ave area

Hello,

On 12/29/10 at approximately 6pm, a medium sized, reddish/brown dog was found tied to a pole on College Ave. The dog allegedly had a note attached to it and a bag of dog food nearby. The note indicated that the dog was homeless.

Somerville Animal Control is seeking any infomation on who left the dog tied to the pole and how long it was there. Any information regarding this incident would be very helpful.

Does there somewhere exist a map that shows where the Cambridge/Sommerville border is? For, say, parking with the resident permit instead of feeding the meters on Mass Ave, purposes?

I was walking the other day and noticed this sign in the window of the auto shop between Day and Dover street.  Looks like they want to expand.  We're not sure if it's a big deal or not but wanted to bring to the community.
