This weekend in Davis Square: HONK Saturday, HONK Parade Sunday, Oktobefest Sunday

Saturday is HONK Festival, all over Davis Square from noon to 9 pm.

Sunday, starting at noon, is the HONK Parade from Davis Square to Harvard Square's Oktoberfest. (I'll be one of the parade marshals, probably on bike. Wave if you see me.)

Meanwhile, back in Davis Square, Somerville is having its own Oktoberfest on Sunday. I wish they were doing this a week later, as it doesn't make sense to me to compete with Harvard Square's much larger and more established event.

Rye Whiskey

So I've decided that I need to expand my knowledge of rye. I'm looking for a place that has a number (at least three, more is better) different ryes in stock so I can taste and compare.

Davis is of course preferable, because it's nice to be in stumbling distance of my bed after a tasting, but I'm willing to travel - hell, even to cross the river, so long as it's T-accessible so nobody has to be designated.
