Beacon St. Reconfiguration Neighborhood Meeting TO BE RESCHEDULED

Hi Everyone,

In light of the storm coming, the organizers of the Beacon St. Neighborhood meeting at Cafe Rustica on Monday [aka tomorrow night]  want to err on the side of caution and are rescheduling the meeting. You might have seen me walking my dog this morning and writing To Be Rescheduled on the flyers :) Please spread the word if you or people you know were planning on attending. complete bed set, completely FREE

Not quite Davis Square, but not far either: we just put a complete full/double size bed (frame, box spring, mattress) out on the curb in front of 11 Whittier St., Cambridge. Completely clean and in great shape, though probably a little damp at the moment. Free of charge, all yours, just come and get it before CPW does tomorrow AM.

Halo in the sky?

Yesterday a few of my friends (not me, unfortunately) saw a big halo/inverted double rainbow thing in the Somerville sky, similar to this. It definitely happened, I heard accounts of it from friends who don't know each other. Did anyone else see it, and if so, did you manage to get pictures?

It's looking serious. Somerville Public Schools will be closed tomorrow (Monday). "HWY XING" on bike path?

I'm really kind of baffled by the new HWY XING sign where the Somerville Community Path crosses a dead-end road near Alewife:

Is this the result of some misguided legislation or city ordinance?

Wanted to rent: garage space

Garage space wanted to rent anywhere in Somerville and could be in parts of Cambridge or Medford or Arlington. 

Would be used for general storage, not for automobile storage.  Need a place to store ice melt in winter for snow business and maybe some other items.  Not sure if I need beyond winter but open to idea.
