WBZ radio reports that there will be NO MBTA SERVICE anywhere this morning while the manhunt for the second suspect goes on in Watertown. Residents of several towns (including Cambridge, but so far not Somerville) are being asked to stay home.

I'm not trying to be alarmist, but anyone know why Somerville isn't in lockdown? Maybe it's just me living two houses from Cambridge, but especially when it was ascertained that the suspects lived in the Central Square area... we're not all that far away...

(I don't need an official order to be told to stay close to home today, but between this and not getting any notification that the MBTA was down...)

Curtis Street in Teele is closed off with police tape and there is a news van. Anyone know what is going on there?

Should all this Boston area craziness be over and wind down today....

I'd like to propose that people make this weekend a celebration weekend, where we all go out, eat at restaurants that had to close and lose money, and generally go out on the town to celebrate our freedom from this week's problems.

What do you all think?

I know the city's in voluntary lockdown but I planned to go shopping this morning and we're a little low on food. Is Flatbread open? I can cook if nothing's open, but frankly, after what my daughter did to the kitchen making Lockdown Muffins, I'm not sure I *want* to cook.

Just heard.  We're going in to open Pandemonium, like NOW.
