Somerville Local First Harvest Fest!

Hi Friends,

As you may have heard, Somerville Local First (where I serve on the board), is holding its annual fundraiser and tasting event, Harvest Fest, on Saturday, October 17 at the Arts at the Armory. This is one of the best events of the year—you get a taste from a bunch of Somerville’s best restaurants and get to sample some of the best in local brews from around New England. All for only $35!

I'm writing to encourage you to come out to support Somerville Local First while having fun with friends new and old. In addition to the usual delicious food and beer tastings, we’ll have games set up to keep you entertained and we have an excellent lineup of local musicians set to perform. This is the major annual fundraiser for the organization, and filling the room is vital for our financial success over the coming year. Think of this as the easiest donation you could make--support SLF and have an amazing time with your friends.

Somerville theater parking

Hoping to go to the 2001 screening at Somerville Theater tonight. Does anybody know if the parking lot adjacent to the theater, next to the health center, is still available for parking? I haven't had to park anywhere in the Square in years. A friend wants to drive and we'll need to find something. Thanks.
