240 Elm Lane Closure and Night Work

The email below the cut was sent to Davis Square business owners late yesterday.  There is necessary utility infrastructure work to be done by Eversource in support of the grocery tenant coming in to 240 Elm St.  DPW was able to negotiate a schedule that will also allow water main work to be done in the same area, to avoid having to rip up the roadway twice in that spot. Work will begin this evening (5/24/16) at 6:00 PM and is scheduled to be completed by Thursday morningFriday by noon.( Read more... )
