vlayne.livejournal.comStill working on cleaning out my aunt's apartment: everything we disappear before the professional clean-out people come, the less we have to pay them.
1) Christmas decorations:
My aunt turned out to be into Christmas decorating, big time. Would anybody be interested in making off with her collection of decorations, wholesale?
We're not entirely sure what all is in there, but it seems to be tree ornaments and indoor wall decorations. I saw some boxes of traditional round red glass ornaments, and a pack of lights. We're not willing to go through it, ourselves, and are otherwise going to just pitch it all in the dumpster, not least because there may well be broken ornaments and glass shards in there - we found some crushed ornaments outside the boxes, already.
If you are willing to take the whole lot, sight unseen, potential broken glass and all, let me know and we can drive it down to the Davis Square area, Sunday night. We'd probably have to deliver to your place, because I can't take receipt at mine, and I don't know when exactly that would be.
2) Perfume:
My aunt accumulated a collection of perfumes. I want to confirm with her that she doesn't want them any more (and she may not be allowed to wear scents in the nursing home). At which point these would be free for the taking, later in the week or next week. If someone is interested in getting the whole batch, please let me know.
