Ball Sq Convenience Store Open

I didn't see a sign with hours posted, but the Tufts Convenience store in the old White Hen spot in Ball Square is now open. I didn't go in, but the inventory looks a little more basic (and perhaps realistic) than the previous incarnation.

They have a deli.

I poked my head in on Thursday, and all of the vendors hadn't yet come by, so some of the shelves were a little bare. The company apparently owns another convenience store on Boston Ave. near Tufts, so I imagine the same vendors stock both stores.

Oh, yay! Not having a convenience store has been sad, but I hadn't seen anyone around I could ask about the reopening. (Although I will miss the crazy, awesome inventory.)

Their hours are 6am-midnight

they have an ATM, $2 surcharge (but a nicer model than the old one..not nearly as slow)
