Have a waxing story to share?

Hi all --


For many years my best friend and I have shared funny, embarrassing, and everything in between stories about waxing experiences, and after joking that we needed some sort of forum to share these stories, we decided that the best way to start a conversation about waxing would be through the blog that we've now launched: Grin and Bare It. We're hoping to get stories from all sorts of people about all different kinds of waxes, so if you have a story to share, we'd love to hear from you! Please e-mail us at grinandbareitblog at gmail dot com with any great stories. I'm also happy to meet you over coffee to share the story and I'll write it up for you! And it's up to you as to whether or not you'd like to remain anonymous.

Yeah, I've lived in the Davis area for about 5 years now...just haven't updated my lj profile since high school. I wanted to post it here since many of our waxing experiences have happened in davis square salons!

"Small college outside Boston"; well, there are several (dozen), but one of them *is* right near Davis, you may have noticed. I'm willing to allow that danifty1 attended, and is possibly even a recent graduate of, The University For The Stoned.

Well, there was a fairly specific mention in one of the entries which said "Tufts" to me. Other Boston area colleges *may* have nude sprints around the quad in the wintertime, but I am quite sure Tufts does (A83, G85; I tend to read news items about Tufts). Given that, I was willing to fill in Tufts for now.

Still don't know what this has to do with Davis Square. I don't care where she lives, but wanting folks to share stories about waxing, wtf?! Aren't there some writer's communities on LJ, that this would be more appropriate for?
