Do you need to have a permit for a yard sale? I've been meaning to have one, and haven't gotten around to checking with the city yet.

I hope not! :) I don't think so for your own property. If you were trying to have it at a park or something, then yes.

Somerville does not require a permit for a yard sale at your residence.
Just don't have stuff on the sidewalk that would block pedestrian traffic; keep stuff in your driveway,on the front lawn.
