Yak & Yeti brunch

I had Yak & Yeti brunch this morning. It's served buffet style, and mostly standard american brunch faire: Pancakes, French Toast, Sausage, Bacon, Scrambled and Hard Boiled Eggs, Hash Browns, Fried Potatoes, Coffee, Tea, Orange Juice. It diverges and gives you some interesting options including: Vegetable Pakora, Chole (chickpea), and Masala Chai. I feel like there were a couple other items I'm forgetting. It was all well done. The pancakes were fluffy and I could list the praises of the things I tried but really all of the parts were done right. I looked out the window to the lines across the street. I guess not enough people have heard of the Y&Y alternative, or don't know what it would offer, but now you do. I think it's a yummy and thoroughly reasonable and good deal $7 brunch.

They are currently posting brunch hours as weekends and public holidays: 7am-10am.

i can second the recommendation... my husband and i went there for a weekend brunch just after they opened and it was excellent!

$7 for a breakfast buffet is indeed a deal. Now to find out what their breakfast hours are...

Hmmm...I think they would do well to extend those hours on weekends--I would certainly be far more up for it.
