Psychiatrist recommendation?

A friend of mine has been having some mental health issues (depression, anxiety, general crazy?) that have been pretty poorly managed, and she's looking for someone to help her with medication. Unfortunately I don't have a lot of experience in this area, but she says she's been having a hard time finding anyone taking new patients or even someone to call her back, so I offered to try to find her some names to continue the hunt.

Can anyone recommend a female psychiatrist in the Camb/Som/Arlington area who may be taking new patients (I don't know her insurance status)? Intelligence is important, but compassionate would also be nice - my friend is kind of burnt out on the whole experience. :(

I really like Judy Greene at Cambridge Health Alliance on Central St in Somerville, but I'm not sure whether she's taking new patients or not. I did not like Rona Klein who is also in the same building.

Call the Psychiatry department at Cambridge Hospital. They are well-respected and have a number of both male and female psychiatrists on staff.
