Snow Emergency Redux

Just when you thought it was safe to move your car...

The City of Somerville will declare a snow emergency Wednesday, January 26 at 7a.m. School has also been cancelled for Wednesday. In accordance with the City's policy, parking restrictions will be enforced four hours after the emergency has been declared (11a.m.) However, residents are encouraged to move their cars immediately to avoid any confusion. i was thinking the same thing.... like anyone on my street even CAN park on the other side. isn't the whole point of calling a snow emergency so the plows can plow up the side of the street and not just down the middle?

Same deal here on my street as well. And pissed me off, some motherfucker moved the trashcan marking my spot and parked there. Fortunately, with the snow emergency and no school tomorrow, I was able to park in a school lot. Otherwise, I would have had to park in someone else's spot, and with my damn luck they would slash my tires.
