Are there any free clinics in the Somerville/Cambridge area? I'm applying for a job which requires a doctor's signature saying I'm healthy, and I don't have health insurance.

Also, do free clinics require some kind of proof of low income or anything similar?

He's still there. He's my PCP, but I always end up seeing Carol Dansky, because of timing issues, who I really like. I like everyone there. The sign for free/low cost health care on wednesdays is still in the window. Office phone number is 617-666-9577. Let us know what happens! (my bf is uninsured, so i'm interested).

Thanks for the info! I called earlier today and they said they do have free health care for those who are unemployed. Those who are employed would have to pay a nominal fee. However they're currently booked through April, so it's no good if you're in a hurry.
