Fireworks Alert, Friday & Saturday: Arlington Town Night and RiverFest

The town of Arlington will shoot off fireworks at dusk tonight (Friday, 9/24) over Spy Pond as part of Town Night festivities. (Also, Mass. Ave. in Arlington Center will be closed for Town Day from 10 am to 3 pm on Saturday -- an event well worth visiting.)

Saturday night (9/25) at 7:45, Federal Realty and the city of Somerville will launch fireworks over the Mystic River at Assembly Square to cap off RiverFest. Go check it out after you've had enough Fluff in Union Square.

And RiverFest benefits the Healey school! I work there and it is an awesome school, so come support it!

'benefits' -- is there something people can pay for there, where the money goes to the school?

Never mind, I re-read the announcement and it mentions food sales.

Seems like poor scheduling to have (most of) this event at the same time as What the Fluff, though.
