As Ron mentioned before, Patch.com is opening a Somerville site, and it'll debut at 1:30pm tomorrow at somerville.patch.com.
I've worked with the Patch folks, helping to assemble their local listings; they've got a good, dedicated local crew and the editor, Denise Taylor, is great and will be doing some local coverage herself (this is very much the whole "send a reporter to meetings" kind of thing).
If you'd like events to be covered, contact Denise directly at deniset@patch.com.
