last moving post, promise (ABF update)

just wanted to update info on this post and say that ABF does do short moves like mine with either the relocube or the trailer space.

however, to move me roughly 60 miles with one of their smallest containers will run me over $800.

so, just fyi to anyone who comes across this looking for future moving options, though the quote calculator on their website will tell you your move is too short, it actually isn't. really friendly customer service too.

We actually just used ABF on our move from Porter Sq to Seattle last month. They were wonderful to deal with; I never had problems reaching people on the phone, they showed up when they said they'd show up, they let us cancel our original delivery date without problems after our original apt fell through, and all of our stuff showed up dry and with no damage that I could see.

We were originally going to go with another company, but the other company treated us like crap (never returning phone calls, etc), so we went with ABF instead.

yeah, i really wish i could use them. unfortunately, if i had that kind of money, i wouldn't be in the spot i'm in now and having to leave. oh well. i'm glad they worked out great for so many people though!
