can anyone recommend a good female primary care doctor in the area? i would prefer an older female...i HATE going to the doctor and i think that having a amore matronly figure makes me feel better on some level...lol

i know i'm weird, shut up :oP

also, somewhere that i could get an appointment sooner rather than later would be great since i got into an accident this weekend and am starting to feel residual soreness...not enough to go to the E.R. though...

any help would be greatly appreciated...

I go to Carol Dansky at Davis Sq Family Practice (in the plaza next to starbucks). She's the oldest female doctor there, but she's quite petite :) She is, however, very kind and a good listener. I'm sure you'll find her quite comforting, actually. (yeah, that sounds weird to say too, but ...)

Dr. Laura Obbard at Somerville Health Associates on Broadway, across from the Star Mkt. on Winter Hill. I do not like doctors one bit, but I think she is wonderful. She's in her mid-thirties, not matronly at all, smart and kind.
