Yep, that was 'Boston Book & Record Warehouse', which occupied the space after Cummings closed and before Goodwill moved there. (Goodwill had been in a much smaller store across the street.)
Boston Book & Record Warehouse moved to Harvard Square and became Barillari Books, a very fancy book superstore that competed with WordsWorth. A few years later, it suddenly closed with no warning. Kinko's/FedEx is in that space today.
I just found this page about a fire at Pasik's in 1979. It says that Pasik's was at 243 Elm Street and that the fire spread next door to Somerville Jewelers at 241 Elm. This means that the former Pasik's is the current McDonald's. (The former Somerville Jewelers is now Julie's Nails.)
There was an earlier McDonald's at a different Elm Street location a few storefronts away.
