Before I attempt to tackle CraigsList, I thought I'd ask if anyone in the neighborhood happens to be selling a small-ish used mountain bike, or knows of a source that might be. Nothing fancy necessary; I'm not a serious cyclist, just want it for getting around town, the bike path, etc. I'm a short-ish female (a small men's bike would be fine) without a lot to spend, but my needs aren't extravagant, either.
I seem to remember a man off Holland who sold refurbished bikes out of his garage. I don't remember the address, but does anyone know if he's still there?
Thank you for any leads on bikes in the 'hood. I hate the idea of having to find a ride to suburbia to get one. You can reply here or catch me at moonstonewater@yahoo.com.

Yup

Date: 2005-03-16 01:45 pm (UTC)That store also has the Annex, where they have a continual clearance sale -- new bikes, but last year's model or whatever. That's where I got my current bike at about 25% off. Mmm.

Date: 2005-03-15 10:05 pm (UTC)I wouldn't want you to sell your bike if you need it, though. I don't really have much to spend, so it's not like you'd make a whole lot on it. :-) But if it's something you don't really use, let me know and maybe I could take a look at it?
