Porch Pick-Up Laundry

I checked the laundry tag and didn't see this specific question.

Several years ago I recall someone saying she used a laundry service that picked up the laundry bag(s) from her porch and dropped them back off on the porch later that day or the next day. This is not the same as dropoff/pickup, as in "haul bag to laundry where someone else washes it for me to pick up clean." (If I have to lug the bag then I might as well just put it in the machine myownself.) What I remember hearing about was actual door service.

Would anyone know if this is a service that still exists? I will be so happy if the answer is yes...

it looks to me like people in the past recommended North Cambridge Laundromat, Teele Square Laundromat, and a place at Wellington Circle in Medford for such service. But I'm not 100% sure it's the same service, or that they still offer it. Try calling them and asking.

also watch The Big Ones (groupon, buywithme, livingsocial, eversave), all of whom have offered Life Without Laundry vouchers in the last 4 months (coupme as well, but I think that was about half a year ago).

Chalk me and my wife up as additional votes for Life without Laundry. Excellent service and value. They even give us laundry bags with name tags.
