I don't make clothing patterns (at least, I never have), though I've made many original wedding dresses, paid and otherwise, by combining commercial patterns and adding pieces of my own design. I have also made copies of other articles of clothing by taking them apart and making replicae from the pieces.

What did you have in mind?

(BTW, n0ire pointed me to you; I live in N. Cambridge but spend much of my life in or near Davis Square, including working at Somerville Hospital. Serving the community and all that...

this is, in fact, exactly what's going on here. she is reasonably experienced making clothing from patterns, and making minor modifications, but this project is a little outside of what she's done. i was hoping we might find someone who could help out. details need to be worked out -- with her, really :-) -- but we're willing to pay a reasonable fee for assistance. :-)
