The City of Somerville will set off fireworks at Trum Field this Thursday, June 30, starting at about 9:15 pm.
The fireworks will be preceded by a general street party on Broadway, starting at 6 pm, featuring live entertainment by the Somerville Sunsetters, Booty Vortex, the USO Metropolitan New York Performers, and the U.S. Navy Band Northeast Show Band.
You really don't want to drive or park anywhere near this event -- especially not on Cedar Street. For a full list of street closures, parking restrictions, and detours for bus routes 80 and 89, see the official city announcement.
