Cambridge chemical is fine. But be sure to get them to give the chemical description sheet (there's a name for this, I just can't remember it), because if they actually have to exterminate existing termites instead of just sent out baits in case they show up, the stuff they spray makes the yard unsafe for children and pets for awhile. Which they might not tell you unless you ask. But when I asked for the chemical explanation sheet, they gave it to me, and all the information was there.
If your boss doesn't have existing termites, they can just sent out baits and watch for them.
Thanks for the info. She seems to have settled on Economy Pest Control, who informed her that termites are, well, pretty much ubiquitous in the soil in the Boston area . . . and since her property has some big chunks of wood buried in it (former industrial use), well . . . even more fun!
It sounds like they are going at it with three things: something lethal in the ground, sealing off the house better, and sealing _in_ the hivething that is in the walls, with nothing more advanced than packing tape, which will presumably just cause that bunch to die off.
