Plastic Surgery

Has anyone had experience with a plastic surgeon that they really liked or know someone who has? I'm specifically looking to get a small bit of fat removed around my cheek/jowl/neck area, probably through liposuction. It's a hereditary feature that my mother and grandmother also had. Most plastic surgeons do liposuction, so any plastic surgeon recommendations would be really really really appreciated.

My coworker just had some surgery done this summer at Brigham and Women's. I'll try to get the name, but I probable won't see him till the end of next week. I'll try to remember to ask him.

Also, I know Mt. Auburn has a plastic surgery doc that was featured on Chronicle a few years back. I believe they did a story on someone from the Midwest who specifically came out here to be this doc's pt for facial reconstruction (it was a huge....deal, IIRC). Don't know his name but I'm sure he's on their web site.

I second the Brigham & Women's recommendation. My mother had some plastic surgery done a year or so ago by Dr. Erikkson, who is the Chief of Plastic Surgery there - he was also on the team that did the first-ever face transplant a few months ago. She had a really great experience with him and the whole team.
