Fundraiser Event on October 15th at Johnny D's

Hello Neighbors!

The Casa Connection is a 501c3 founded by fellow Somerville neighbors and supports the work of the Casa  San Jose Orphanage in Colima, Mexico.  On October 15th, 2011 from 4-7pm we will be holding our first ever large-scale fundraiser.  We invite our neighbors to join us at this event.  Tickets can be purchased online for $25 and will include food by Johnny D's, a live auction with gift cards and items from local vendors and beyond and lastly, a concert by local musicians Afro Dz Ak and the All Star Band.  Please join us for what should be a fun and entertaining evening!

Hi. You tagged this 'volunteer' but the message doesn't ask for volunteers. What sort of volunteers do you want, and what can they do for you?

No, not a volunteer activity exactly. More of a good cause this time around. We ARE looking for people to volunteer in general though for future activities. We'd love to have people on board who are good at organizing events and fundraisers and like supporting a good cause!
