Ball Square's "Yelling Mike"?

I haven't seen Mike in quite a while (4-5 months maybe?). Does anyone know what's the deal?

Mike is the gentleman who lives and hangs out in Ball Square and can be quite loud and aggressive at times. He's generally harmless but can be quite angry and incoherent and intimidating. He's been a fixture in the neighborhood since I moved here in 1999.

I saw him the other day wearing a charity race T-shirt. I can't remember where, but it can't have been far from Davis.

Crap... you're right, I haven't seen Yelling Mike in a long time. That's concerning :-\

He lives, AFAIK, at the halfway house on Broadway b/w Ball Square and Powderhouse.

Huh. You're right, I used to see him every other week or so when waiting for the bus, and now I think it's been close to a year. Think the last I saw of him was Yasser throwing him out of Sound Bites.

I haven't seen him hanging out at the bench on College Ave across from the Dunkin Donuts in quite a while.

I'm pretty sure I saw him on the T a few weeks ago, sitting quietly by himself minding his own business.

Hope he's okay and that folks haven't seen him around because he's been occupied elsewhere, not because he's been ill. (And I say this as someone who has had really unpleasant encounters with him myself! But I also wish him no harm.)
