Optometrist for contact lens exam
Dec. 9th, 2011 08:55 amI need to get an updated prescription for my contacts. I looked at old posts, but the most recent ones tagged eye care are out of date; I was ready to take the recommendation for Dr. Smith at Lenscrafters or Dr. Littlejohn at ForEyes but both seem to no longer be at those practices.
I don't have vision insurance, so low price is pretty important. The reviews of Parelli and General Optical on Yelp both say that an eye exam with lens fitting is more than $150. I'd like to pay closer to $120 or less. I'm happy to travel by car or T. Where is your friendly, reasonably-priced eye doctor?
Thanks!
